Four girls in Victor McCormick Hall (VMC) have managed to create a winter wonderland within the constraints of their room.

Courtney Ernst '14, Willow Hombsch '14, Chelsea Julian '14, and Jessica Zignego '14 wanted to incorporate festive decorations from home into their room on campus. With a fully decorated Christmas tree, Christmas lights strung throughout the room, and homemade stockings hung by the window, the girls have definitely accomplished their goal.

"We figured that our room would look the best if we incorporated all of our favorite parts of the holiday," said Hombsch.

Julian added, "At first, we didn't really know where to start, so Jessica and I just went shopping and picked out anything we thought might look good. We're all very happy with how it turned out."

Even so, the consensus is that roommate bonding was the best part of the whole experience.

"Throughout the whole process we listened to Christmas music, made sugar cookies and drank hot chocolate. It was a good break from studying," stated Zignego.

However, for Hombsch there is still one thing missing from their room.

"I just really wish we could have gotten one of those huge inflatable Santas. "
